ADEN PARIS is an accomplished, American producer and director. ADEN has produced and directed numerous films and stage productions in New York, New York, the United States of America and in Los Angeles, California, U. S. A. -- including: 'The Lion King' / 'Wicked' / 'Les Misérables' / 'Rent' / 'Hair-spray' / ‘The Most Excellent and Lamentable Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet’ / ‘Leo, in Love.’

ADEN was selected to be a member of the Columbia University Film Festival Jury, has curated narrative, avant-garde and experimental film -- including for the Brooklyn Film Festival, Brooklyn, New York, U. S. A. -- is a charter member of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, a member of the American Film Institute and a member of the National Board of Review.

ADEN’S experiences include: script analysis, development, finance (Entertainment Partners) and editing (Avid Technology). ADEN holds an Artium Baccalaureus from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, U. S. A., and holds a Master of Fine Arts from Columbia University in the City of New York and the Columbia Business School Media Management, New York, New York, U. S. A., in the Program co-created by Milos Forman -- the two-time, Academy Award-winning director of:

'One Flew, Over the Cuckoo's Nest' (1975; Academy Awards: Best Picture, Actor in a Leading Role Jack Nicholson, Actress in a Leading Role, Directing, and Writing — Adapted)

The Columbia Concentration was created by and chaired by Ira Deutchman, the founder of Fine Line Features (a division of New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Pictures) and a specialty films marketer and distributor, including:

‘A Woman, Under the Influence’ (1974; writer-director John Cassavetes, actress Gena Rowlands)

‘The Last Waltz’ (1978; director Martin Scorsese, musicians the Band and Bob Dylan)

‘A Room with a View’ (1985; a Merchant-Ivory production, actors Maggie Smith, Judi Dench and Daniel Day-Lewis)

‘Sex, Lies and Video-tape’ (1989; writer-director Steven Soderbergh; Winner of la Palme d’Or, la Festival de Cannes)

‘Hoop Dreams’ (1994; Academy Award Nominee: Best Film Editing; “The great, American documentary,” Roger Ebert).

Deutchman is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The Columbia Concentration is co-led by Jack Lechner, the former head of development of Mira-max. Lechner has produced and been an executive on such films and tele-vision series as:

Lechner is a member of the Academy. ADEN has worked intimately with Deutchman and with Lechner.

ADEN has authored multiple books, as well as a book of critical essays on film and theatre, including:
